"Every GOP candidate for the Republican nomination should know that this decision makes the 2016 election a referendum on the full repeal of Obamacare." That's what Ted said following the Supreme Court's King v. Burwell decision on Thursday. And he's absolutely right.

Because of the ruling, Obamacare will now be responsible for imposing illegal taxes on more than 11 million individuals and for burdening hundreds of thousands of businesses with illegal penalties on their workers, killing jobs, and further slowing economic growth. President Obama's health care law remains deeply unpopular and is harming countless Americans by increasing costs and worsening the quality of care. Ted remains fully committed to the repeal of Obamacare--every single word of it. And, with your help, in 2017 we will do exactly that.

And just yesterday, the Supreme Court doubled down on violating their judicial oaths with a 5-4 opinion that undermines not just the definition of marriage, but the very foundations of our representative form of government. In response, Ted wrote an op-ed in National Review Online that you're going to want to read. In it, he discusses Constitutional remedies to a lawless Supreme Court because "we must hold fast to the miracle that is our Constitution and our republic; we must not submit our constitutional freedoms, and the promise of our nation, to judicial tyranny."

Earlier this week, Ted gave a speech at the Heritage Foundation in which he reveals the cronyism that runs deep in Washington, powered by the "Washington Cartel" comprised of establishment politicians and corporate lobbyists who continue to benefit big government and big business at the expense of millions of Americans.

In the speech, Ted notes, "Washington has done a great job of one thing -- picking winners and losers, except it's clear each time who the losers are: American families, who are struggling to pay skyrocketing health care premiums and tuition costs; it's our community banks and marketplaces that are going out of business; it's young entrepreneurs and small business owners." But the good news, Friend, is we're going to break the Washington Cartel, and we're going to do it with your help!

In addition, last Sunday on Father's Day, the campaign released a video in which Ted introduces his father, Rafael, who tells his dramatic story and explains why he so passionately desired to instill in his son a profound appreciation, gratitude and love for America.

From an immigrant who could barely speak the language to a candidate for President of the United States in one generation, Rafael Cruz's life story embodies the promise of America, and we hope you'll listen to and share his story here.

All of us at Team Cruz hope you have an excellent weekend and thank you for your continued support.
