During my Two Term tenure on the Columbus City Council I have been an advocate for freedom, justice and equality. I have a track record for fighting for the people of Columbus and Lowndes County. I will continue to fight for you the people of Mississippi for those necessary "pocketbook issues,"that affect all of us which include:
*Jobs
*Raising the Minimal Wage
*Equal Pay for Women for Equal Work
*Fully Funding Education K-12
*Prison Sentencing Reform and Reentry
The same principles that President Obama has fought for in Washington D.C. are the same principles that I will take to Jackson in the state legislature.On Tuesday, August 4, send True Democratic Leadership to the Mississippi House of Representatives.
