Public Safety is one of the few core functions of government and one that is vital for South Carolina and the South Strand. With a brother serving our community at Horry County Fire & Rescue and many friends who are law enforcement officers, Russell understands the need for improved public safety and is acutely aware of the strains placed on our first responders. From working with local officials to improve cooperation to adequately funding our law enforcement personnel, Russell views public safety improvement as an important step to making South Carolina a better place to live, work, and raise a family and will champion that cause in Columbia.
