Today the Federal Aviation Administration unveiled proposed rules for the commercial operation of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS). Representative Dina Titus of Nevada's First Congressional District and a Member of the House Aviation Subcommittee issued the following statement:

"The release of this long-awaited sUAS rule is critical for industry and the general public to have a say in future regulations of this important technology. Finalizing this rule is vital to getting this industry off the ground. The State of Nevada is well-positioned to be a leader in the design, testing, and innovation of UAS technologies. As a member of the House Aviation Subcommittee, I will continue to advocate for strong rules that allow the United States to continue to lead the world in aviation technologies for generations to come."
