Issue Position

I will fight to stop job-killing regulations and taxes. I believe that coal is not only critical to our economy, but is also an important part of our culture and way of life. I plan to fight for our coal industry by working at the state level to stand up to the EPA and the Obama Administration. Good paying coal jobs help our whole economy in Southwest Virginia. I don't think I would still be in business without them. I will stand up to the anti-coal politicians of BOTH parties in Richmond to ensure that my children, as well as yours, have the same quality of life in Southwest Virginia that you and I have.
