A new survey conducted by respected national polling firm Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin, Metz & Associates of 403 voters in Utah's 4th Congressional District likely to vote in the November election, shows that Doug Owens has serious momentum and the race for Utah's 4th Congressional District is a statistical dead heat. The newest poll shows that Owens is only 3 points behind his opponent, with the race being at 47% Love -- 44% Owens.
According to the survey, Owens has become better-known and continues to be viewed highly favorably. Conversely, his opponent Mia Love continues to be viewed highly unfavorably among a large portion of the electorate, and much of what voters have heard over the last few weeks has caused them to view her less favorably. Heading into the final weeks of the campaign, Doug Owens has clear momentum.
"I understand what matters most to hardworking middle class Utah families," said Owens. "As Utah voters get to know who I am and what I stand for, they vote for me. I'll be a strong, independent voice who will always put the priorities and concerns of Utah first. I'm confident we'll win in November."
Doug Owens is a sixth-generation Utahn, Salt Lake City native, husband and father of four, and successful business defense attorney. He is the son of the late Utah Congressman Wayne Owens and is running to get Congress working again for middle class Utah families.
