Issue Position

Mainers should not have to move away to earn a good living. We can't afford to keep losing our talented young people to other states. We need to make Maine a friendlier state for businesses large and small, including entrepreneurs and the self-employed.

We can start by lowering our tax rates and addressing unnecessary regulations that burden business growth. And, we need industry to partner with education so that our young people are getting the right training -- be it technical or academic -- to attract and keep good paying jobs in Maine.
