We need to live within our means, with an eye to the future. Like Maine families, the State needs to use our money wisely, budget honestly and set the stage for economic sustainability for future generations.
We need to reevaluate programs that are inefficient and outdated. And, we need smart long-term investments in initiatives that will pay dividends in the future, giving Maine a solid and self-sustaining economic foundation.
