Issue Position

Ohio, particularly Northwest Ohio, offers some of the best farmland in the world. That is why agriculture is, and will always be, Ohio's #1 industry. As the home of many farmers and agribusinesses, Northwest Ohio relies as heavily on agriculture as any other area of the state. It is important that our state legistlature supports policies that strengthen our agricultural economy through preservation of our farmland and the education of the next generation of farmers.
