The key to economic development in south Salt Lake County is transportation, transportation, transportation. In February I went on a tour of the future Mountain View Corridor and was really impressed with the progress that was made thus far. The project is nearly completed up to 5400 South and is scheduled to open by the end of 2012. For more information on the status visit the Mountain View Corridor Website.

We need to complete the project up to SR-201 at the least for the project to be a serious alternative to Bangerter and I-15. I will continue to lead on economic development and transportation issues if re-elected to the Utah House of Representatives.
