Issue Position

The Port of Savannah is the 4th largest and fastest growing container port in the US. It is crucial to the economic development of our region and State. We must support the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project as our top priority. Further, we must support improvements to Georgia's tax system to make it more business friendly. We should continue to invest and improve upon training programs, especially at our technical schools, to further our capabilities in developing our workforce. We also need to keep HOPE Scholarships viable and available for our children to achieve their greatest potential.
