Jobs and Transportation:
Bruce personally drafted a transportation package which added lanes on Highway 26, and rebuilt the Glencoe and Shute Road Interchanges. These projects improved road safety while putting local contractors and their employees to work.
Education:
Bruce supported HB5601, voting to increase K-12 funding by $100 million to hire teachers and add valuable school days.
Supporting Small Business:
Bruce voted for HB3601, cutting taxes on small businesses that create jobs and add to the economy.
Environment:
Bruce voted to preserve Oregon's rivers and streams protecting habitat for species like salmon, lamprey, and trout.
