Healthcare

The Affordable Care Act has been passed by Congress, signed by the President, and upheld by the Supreme Court. It is the law of the land and a triumph in making sure every American has access to healthcare. Yet, many still try to attack the law based on their own rigid political ideology. It is time to embrace this system and educate people about it, so more people can benefit from it. We must also let our Governor know that opting out of the Medicaid expansion and depriving thousands of people the adequate healthcare they deserve is irresponsible. This expansion would have little cost to our state while benefiting thousands of citizens.
