For the first time in over a decade, Minnesota's budget is honestly balanced now and into the future. We went from a $627 million deficit and $800 million IOU to our schools to a $1.2 billion surplus and schools paid back in full. Our state is finally on solid financial footing, which will lead to a stronger state and investments in our economic engine -- the middle class.
