The past couple of years have been challenging for many of us. There is nothing more effective than a good paying job to improve our economy. It means cutting red tape and creating incentives for folks to start new businesses. That's why I co-sponsored EARN -- a workforce development program that improves and matches workers' skills with employment needs. This program combines $4.5 million in State funding with private sector expertise to train Marylanders for new careers and increase employment opportunities.
