Another concern in the district is our retired citizens. Many of the retirees are military and appreciate the access to Fort Campbell for the PX and commissary. However, many of the veterans do not have readily available access to medical facilities without traveling to Nashville. With the amount of retired veterans within the Montgomery County and surrounding areas this would justify having a local VA medical facility in Clarksville. As a veteran, I feel that this is a deserved benefit we must act upon. As your State Representative, I will push the State of Tennessee and our United States Representative to make more veteran facilities closer and available to care for your needs.
