Bo has the experience to attack our fiscal challenges.
Assuring Fiscal Responsibility
Bo has a record of fiscal responsibility throughout his time in the Metro Council and Tennessee House, including a several votes against raising taxes on Tennessee's working families and seniors. In 2012, he voted against the Davidson County property tax increase in the Metro Council. Prior to that, he worked for a property tax freeze for senior citizens. In the House, he voted to give Tennesseans the right to add an amendment to the state constitution prohibiting a state income tax. These votes, along with his work to ensure the government is held accountable for its tax policies and spending habits, have earned Bo a reputation as a watchdog for responsible government spending and sound fiscal management.
