While government is necessary for a successful society, our federal govenment continues to intrude in places they have no business governing. The rights of the states are continually being stripped away by Washington bureaucrats and West Tennesseans are tired of it. The states must stand up to Washington on issues like education, business regulations, social issues, etc. Ed Jackson believes that "the best government is one that governs closest to those being governed."
