Immigration: America Welcomes Legal Immigrants

Immigration laws are ignored, sanctuary cities abound, and employers knowingly hire illegals while the federal government abdicates its responsibility to protect our borders.

To address this problem, we must:

Seal the border now so we stop compounding the problem. Moving forward, anyone entering our country must come here legally.
Grant those here illegally a type of green card allowing them to stay, work, and pay taxes -- but there must be NO citizenship and NO public benefits. We must not reward those who violated our laws by entering our country illegally. They can stay and work, but they will never become a citizen -- there must be a price for violating our laws.
If someone here illegally wants to become a citizen, they can follow our existing immigration laws by returning to his or her home country and apply for citizenship as millions have legally done before.
We must NOT grant amnesty. It dishonors the millions who have come to our shores legally and worked hard to attain status as a citizen of the United States.
