Jobs: The Backbone of Our Economy
Small businesses struggle to hire while under the burden of governmental regulations, taxes, licenses, and fees - especially in today′s economy.
Even when a small business is struggling, the forms must be filed and the taxes must be paid - along with the lights, rent, loans, etc. Meeting government demands is a huge cost for a small business and not one a small business can put off. Thus, a small business often cuts staff or puts off hiring in order to meet the government′s demands.
The solution is for government to make fewer demands on business. When a business is regulated at the local, state, and federal level, the redundancies are a needless expense.
We need to simplify and streamline. The money saved can be put into job creation, higher wages or benefits for existing workers, or cost savings for customers.
