It is our duty to protect the men and women who have served in our nation's Armed Forces. Veterans lead the country in unemployment, despite years of experience and the best training our military has to offer. I have fought in New Jersey to give our veterans the support they need at home. My Veteran Set-Aside initiative enables local governments to partner with businesses owned by and employing veterans, providing much-needed job opportunities for these skilled workers.

We should not be putting up barriers to veterans' education. The NJ TEAM Act will provide in-state tuition rates for all veterans attending school in New Jersey, regardless of their residency. The bravery our service-men and women have shown is not limited to state borders, nor should be their education. I support House Resolution 357, the G.I. Bill Tuition Fairness Act, which enacts in-state tuition rates for veterans across the country.
