Thomas Jefferson stated, " all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed; that they are entitled to freedom of person, freedom of religion, freedom of property, and freedom of the press."
Our Founding Fathers believed that the right to keep and bear arms was a natural right given to all men by God. The Second Amendment upholds this truth by restricting the federal government from passing any legislation that in any way infringes upon that natural right.
