Throughout his time in the Idaho Legislature and in the U.S. Congress, Raúl Labrador has been a proven fighter for tax reform and a committed advocate for tax relief for Idaho families. Whether it is leading the opposition against efforts to raise the gas tax or sponsoring legislation to reduce the burden taxes place on you and your family, Raúl has been at the forefront of the fight to protect Idaho taxpayers.

In Congress, Raúl will has continued his commitment to protecting Idaho taxpayers by sponsoring legislation to permanently reduce the ever growing tax burden the politicians in Washington want to pass on to Idaho families. Raul cosponsored HR1259, a permanent repeal of the death tax--senseless tax that discourages the American Dream. Raúl opposes any and all efforts to increase taxes. He also believes strongly in a flatter, fairer tax system.
