Brian has the ultimate respect for any individual who wishes to improve their standing in life but your first step into that life cannot be an illegal one. He understands the immigration process in the United States is complex and convoluted but we have to stop being the welcoming committee for illegal immigration and criminals and in the same breath demonizing the hard-working taxpayers and producers of the state. Keep in mind there are many people still flowing in to our country and state that want to do us immeasurable harm and also puts a terrible burden on our system through emergency room abuse and entitlement fraud and theft.
The left will tell you we want to rip woman and children out of their homes and deport 11 million people overnight. We must secure the border immediately or it is all a exercise in futility and we are putting Maryland and the United States in great peril. Our leaders should be encouraged to secure the border. Then and only then we begin the process of identifying those who wish to be productive citizens and have them go through the process legally.
