Issues: Immigration
America is a nation of immigrants, and legal immigration is a good thing for our state. I want people to be able to come here and become part of our community. Unfortunately, illegal immigration makes it harder for those who want to come here the right way. Illegal Immigration costs our state an estimated $1.2 billion a year.
I also oppose funding for organizations that aid illegal immigrants. We should welcome legal immigrants and people working here from other countries as long as they are here legally.
