The Nevada legislature allocates hundreds of millions of dollars for capital improvements, public works, and roads. I will fight for Northern Nevada's fair share. Nevada has the potential to have the largest public works project in American history. Former Governor Robert List estimates full operations at Yucca Mountain will be a 100 BILLION dollar project providing Nevadans with jobs for decades. Nevada would also be on the cutting edge of research and development, generating thousands of jobs in construction, technology, engineering and all support industries including our colleges and universities.
