Griffin: House Republicans Do Their Job, Pass Budget That Actually Balances

Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement after the House passed H.Con.Res. 96, a budget resolution for FY2015:
"President Obama and his allies in Congress love to attack our budget plan, but the fact is that Senate Democrats refuse to even offer one and the President's proposal is so unserious that virtually no Democrat in the House was willing to support it. Our budget plan is the only one that ever balances--the only one that would address Washington's unsustainable spending addiction and debt in a serious manner. I'm proud to once again support real solutions that will save hardworking taxpayers money, balance the budget, grow good-paying jobs, and reform and save critical programs like Medicare."
