I am committed to ensuring our country's veterans and their families have access to healthcare, job assistance, and rehabilitation opportunities offered from the communities they live in. Their service is an unpayable debt. It is our job as fellow Americans to ensure their welcome home is complete with the tools they need to continue a fulfilling life after their service is complete.
In these tight fiscal times, there are many questions about the federal budget and how recent legislation has impacted the Veterans Administration and the veterans it supports. Providing veterans with the resources needed to live independent and productive lives is a priority for me, especially for those returning from war, who have made great personal sacrifices. It is vitally importat that services, including mental health resources, be available to support our veterans and their families.
I will figh for the health and wellbeing of the men and women that have served our country, as well as their families, and look forward improvements in the the level of care and service in the years to come.
