The health of our economy dictates the prosperity felt in each and every American home -- affecting everything from health care to foreign policy. It is crucial to ensure that we are making the right economic decisions so that the American people are able to thrive.
Issue: Washington is currently spending out of control, wasting money on failed programs, political perks, and bad investments. Our National Debt is projected to be 20 trillion by 2017, unemployment is consistently high, and the amount of Americans in the workforce continues to drop.
Solution: Our communities and nation must have a detailed budget proposal along with pro-growth tax policies that will address the needs of the people.
Using a "family household style" budget by cutting unnecessary spending and prioritizing should be the first step toward a balance budget.
Placing a freeze on the budget, department audits, tax reform, entitlement reform, and implementing cuts that control the wasteful overhead in Washington will reduce the debt and allow for flexibility in our budget for emergencies. These solutions will decrease the debt and put certainty in our job creators.
We CAN'T allow Washington to continue to spend our children into poverty.
