Issue Position

Protecting and promoting Montana agriculture is one of my top priorities in Congress. Getting a five-year Farm Bill in place is essential for Montana's agriculture producers. Washington has needlessly created uncertainty by not getting its job done, and I'm committed to getting a Farm Bill passed through Congress and signed by the President. Additionally, I'm working hard to reduce the regulatory burden on agriculture, to make it easier for young people to farm and ranch, and to open new markets for Montana's products overseas. Agriculture is Montana's top industry, and the hard work of our farmers and ranchers puts food on the table for families across the country and the world.
