There are a lot of reasons why we need and deserve change in Charleston, but for me, one reason stands out from all the rest: it's about jobs.

For over 80 year, job-crippling policies supported by the House of Delegates have taken their toll. We have to stand by while West Virginians have lost jobs or have been forced to leave their homes and families to find gainful employment.

Generations of educated and skilled West Virginians have been unable to return to their homes and communities because our stagnant economy has offered little to no opportunity.

Turning our economy around means making smart decisions now, that will pay off in the short and long term. Our approach cannot simply be business as usual. We've been trying that for over 80 years.
