Issue Position

Nebraska's criminal justice and penal system exists to ensure the safety of our citizens. That means removing from society--sometimes permanently--those who have harmed others. It also means preparing and encouraging qualifying, non-violent offenders to live productive lives.

Mike Foley is the only candidate who has sent criminals to jail. As state auditor Mike has assisted with the prosecution of lawbreakers. As governor he will pursue bold, effective measures to curb crime, working to ensure that state resources will assist innocent victims and protect the public instead of coddling hardened criminals.
