State Pensions
State workers who have been promised pensions should be able to collect them in full when they retire. The decrease in the cost of living adjustment for state retirees (except judges who will rule on the legality of the measure!), and the new requirements for retirees to refund a portion of their pensions to the state for their group health policies, is a further degradation by the legislature of its constitutional and moral obligation to those who have worked for the state.
