Issue Position: For Secure Borders

Issue Position

The federal government has continuously failed to protect our international borders and enforce current immigration policy. If the federal government will not do its job, then I believe it is the responsibility of of Texas to secure its own borders. I believe that increased border security is critical for increasing job opportunities for Americans, and decreasing crime and taxes on Texas families. I also oppose blanket amnesty, the ending of sanctuary cities and support the ability of Texas law enforcement to enforce the rule of law and the will of the people.
