Issue Position

Higher Education:

As state representative, I will work to grow education opportunities right here in West Texas. I want to see expansion of engineering programs at UTPB, facilities upgrades at the Texas Tech medical school in downtown Odessa, and I want to work with Odessa College to enhance the technical and vocational programs they offer so that we can have a better-trained workforce in the oilfields in the near term, and so that we can diversify our local economy by having more skilled workers for other fields of employment in the long term.
