Issues: Oil and Gas Trade
Alaskans understand that our land can be opened to responsible oil development in a way that will not significantly damage the environment. However, our current Representative has been unable to overcome opposition to development in DC, in part because he has taken an "us against them" position. We need to try a new approach and work on both sides of the aisle to see that Alaska's oil continues to flow and that our natural gas is finally brought to both the domestic and international market.
