Our country's dangerous dependence on foreign oil must end. For decades, professional politicians in Washington have failed to create a real energy policy for the United States, putting our economy and national security at risk.

In Congress, I will support an "all of the above" approach to domestic energy production that reduced the United States dependence on foreign sources of oil and creates jobs for Americans.

We must drill for oil in ANWAR and completely open up the Gulf of Mexico for safe oil exploration and drilling. Government should be a friend of domestic energy production, not an obstacle.
