Today, Congressman Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) commented on the announcement that four State Department employees involved in the Benghazi tragedy on September 11, 2012 will continue working at the State Department:
"The State Department's Accountability Review Board said last December these employees failed to keep our Benghazi consulate secure. It is disappointing to learn they will remain employees of the State Department without a full Congressional review of their actions.
"Throughout this tragedy's aftermath, the American people have not seen transparency, accountability, or acceptance of responsibility from the President or the State Department. His administration has continually stonewalled the American people on Benghazi. Four people died due to this tragedy and their families, and all taxpayers, deserve answers on what happened in Benghazi that day. Congress must continue pushing for that result."
