Issue Position

We're fighting to reform government and eliminate waste and abuse to save taxpayer money -- starting with tough accountability and limits on government spending.

It's time to crack down on corrupt politicians. We're fighting to increase fines to up to $500,000, impose prison sentences of up to 20 years, take away pension and retirement benefits and allow the state to recover illegal profits. And we're pushing for a law that would institute mandatory prison terms for corrupt officials.

We propose a freeze on state spending to get our budget under control, followed by independent audits of every government agency, capping unused sick leave payments for government employees and eliminating expensive perks for public officials like luxury boxes at sports events and free EZ Passes. And by capping property taxes, we'll encourage local governments to increase efficiency.
