Issue Position

High taxes stifle growth, increase unemployment and generate less revenue. When tax rates are reduced, the economy grows. When the economy grows, people make more money; new jobs are created and our quality of life improves.

I believe the economy works best when individuals keep more of their income, and businesses have more money to invest and add jobs. In the Assembly, I will propose legislation that constitutionally protects taxpayers, lowers tax rates for businesses and individuals, and makes our system fair, flat, and more competitive in the global marketplace.
