# Focus on the economy- Anyone elected in 2012 knows that they are mandated to get our economy moving again. Salem's unemployment rate has stagnated recently, and we are currently stuck at 8.1%. In fact, our workforce in Salem has shrunk from 17,300 in March 2012 to 16,990 in August, while the unemployed have increased from 1,330 to 1,370 during that same period. We cannot have a growing economy as a town without a growing labor force, and my focus on the economy will be twofold: make Salem an extremely fertile area for jobs to develop and bring upon a rush of new citizens to populate our growing town and workforce.

# Listen to the people- There is growing value upon constituent outreach, and if elected I will ensure that I am always reachable to my Salem constituents. I will actively use Twitter, Facebook, and email capabilities to connect with the citizens of Salem every day. We live in an amazingly technologically advanced world, and a State Representative must take advantage of such technologies to better the people of Salem.

# Trust the people- As of late, there is a massive distrust between the people and the government. The people simply do not trust Government currently, and we cannot blame them for that. In order to repair the relationship between the Government and the people, we need the Government to trust the people more. We trust the people by continually expanding freedoms the people have. I believe that only when the Government trusts the people, the people can achieve the highest amount of personal freedom.

# Enable more transparency- We need to invest in our State's information technology to increase Government Transparency. With such an active legislature, so many laws are passed every session that the average NH citizen needs to search in knowledge for. The inner workings of our State Government need to become common knowledge to the people of New Hampshire. By advocating for a larger presence by our State on social media and the internet, New Hampshire will become more interconnected with the world and more invested in the digital age. The more New Hampshire gains a presence online and processes more information, the better it will be for New Hampshire citizens and those looking to do business in our State.

# Serve to the best of my ability- My last promise is to serve Salem to the highest quality of which I am capable. I will participate in town events, advocate for our town across the State, and work tirelessly to make our town the best that it can be. I believe Salem has great potential, and we as a people need to seek out new opportunities for businesses to thrive in Salem and across our State.
