Issue Position: Responsible Resource and Energy Development

Issue Position

Utah is rich with natural resources which fuel our vibrant economy. The Utah Constitution provides specific provisions by which our natural resources help directly fund the education of our children. Utah needs to promote the development of our rich energy resources and infrastructure to meet increasing demands. Developing natural resources benefits our children promotes national energy security which will fuel the economy. Utah needs to stand up against the continued efforts of Washington D.C. to limit development of our natural resources. I will advocate development of Utah's energy resources in an environmentally conscious manner.
