Issue Position: Provide Quality Primary and Secondary Education

Issue Position

Throughout my life I have been an advocate for high quality education in Fayette County, and I will remain so as your state representative. Within the last year there has been discussion of the need for a new high school in the Hamburg area.

Ten years ago I helped bring about the new state-of-the-art Bryan Station High School. I will do the same for the citizens in Hamburg. In addition, I pledge to work with the Fayette County Superintendent Tom Shelton and School Board members to sustain the funding necessary to keep Fayette County as one of the best school systems in the country.
