Housing-As foreclosure defense attorney, Cara Christine Pavalock believes it is important to help homeowners remain in their home, working with local banking institutions to modify their loans to make it affordable for the homeowner, and fiscally sound for the banking institution. Abandoned houses bring down the value of surrounding properties. Cara firmly believes the banks should be required to register the houses, preventing squatting and other crimes. Banks should not be allowed to drag out the foreclosure process allowing these properties to remain vacant. Cara Christine Pavalock will draft and support legislation to force banks to take care of these types of properties and return these properties to the market quickly so they can be purchased at a reasonable price, stimulating the local economy.

Property Insurance-That I want to encourage citizens to use a graduated deductabile vs a flat deductible. by using a graduated deductible will reduce fraud, andwill prevent underfunding in the event of a catestrophic event.

State Budget -- The state budget is out of control. Cara is dedicated to using her experience with forclosure cases to bring practical fiscal solutions to Tallahassee, and using responsible spending practices to bring the Florida budget under control.
