While unemployment is slowly falling, our economy added a lower than expected 96,000 jobs last month. Tougher Buy American laws would create 600,000 jobs right away--all without costing taxpayers a dime--but Linda McMahon inexplicably still refuses to support the plan. Strengthening our Buy American laws will ensure that when the federal government buys goods, those tax dollars--our tax dollars--support American jobs. McMahon should renounce her own record of sending jobs and business overseas and support a fiscally responsible plan to create jobs now. Connecticut can't wait.
