Issue Position

I oppose a state corporate and income tax. I support repealing the tax on food which will help everyone but help lower and middle class income families the most. South Dakota's budget will depend a lot on the outcome of the sales tax initiative to increase funding for education and Medicaid, which could bring in around 90 million for each. If it passes I will work to make sure it's used as intended by the law.
