Bill Foster Statement on Labor Day

Statement

Date: Sept. 3, 2012
Location: Naperville, IL
Issues: Labor Unions

Bill Foster released the following statement today honoring Labor Day:

"This Labor Day, we honor American workers who are the backbone of our economy," said Bill Foster. "The right to organize is fundamental to our workforce and has put vital protections in place, like the minimum wage and worker safety regulations. But after 30 years in politics Congresswoman Biggert has a failing grade when it comes to advocating for the working class. As a businessman, treating workers fairly and justly has always been a priority for me - and I will always put the interests of middle class workers and families first."
