Statement

Date: Sept. 11, 2012
Location: Washington, DC

U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) released the following statement regarding the anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001:

"Our country - and our world - changed forever on 9/11. But what didn't change was the resolute, enduring American spirit. Out of overwhelming tragedy, came acts of kindness, courage, and heroism. As we call to mind those who were lost, we recommit ourselves to forever honor their memory. And we give thanks to the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending our country since 9/11."
