Issue Position

Working to promote the empowerment of low income women will benefit our future economic success. A woman's right to choose, access to education, equal pay and consumer protections benefit families and communities in numerous ways. Maternal health, early childhood health and education are all determinants of family and community strength.

The easiest way to judge a society is by its fairness. Fundamental rights should never be voted on by others and our laws should respect our State's constitutional guarantee of privacy.
