Consistent with my plan to create jobs and my budget reforms that will make it harder for liberals in Congress to raise taxes, I will oppose efforts to raise taxes.

If we allow Louisiana people to keep more of what they earn, we can unleash the American buying public to support our small businesses and help our nation fully recover from the recent economic turmoil.

I will not go back on my promise.
